Welcome to the Chambers County District Clerk’s website!
My goal for this website is to make the information in our office available to you 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Please take a moment to browse the links section to see where you can access applications for a passport, to sign up in the child support system, review our 2009 or 2010 fees and access the online case file system.
The online case file system allows you to view all civil and criminal cases, check for court dates and track the status of a particular case. You can look a case up by case number (remember to put CV in front of the number to look up civil cases), defendant or plaintiff and coming soon by date range. I am also working on having documents available for viewing and printing in certain case files in the near future. I am proud to announce that we now offer E-filing in the District Clerk’s office via Texas Online. Attorneys can now file petitions online at the click of a button, which will save time and money for attorneys and clients alike.
Most of our services can be paid for by clicking on “pay by credit card”( Make sure you write down the office ID# before you click the button).
All of these services are offered for your convenience, however, we would still love to see you in the office where I or my deputies are ready and willing to help you with courtesy and professionalism. We are here to serve you and I welcome any comments or suggestions you have regarding this site or our office in the courthouse.
Sincerely,
The Honorable Patti L. Henry

Duties of a District Clerk;
Texas Constitution, Article V, Section 9 CLERK OF DISTRICT COURT. There shall be a Clerk for the District Court of each county, who shall be elected by the qualified voters and who shall hold their office for four years.
The duty of the District Clerk is “the custodian of records” for the district courts. They handle all felony cases pursued by the District Attorney’s office. Cain, III of the 253rd district court, the Honorable Judge Mary Craft of the three river cluster court (child protective services) and the Attorney General court.
