Chambers County, Texas
Winnie-Stowell
Winnie and Stowell, Texas are two places where neighborly atmospheres prevail. As you drive beyond the towering skyline of Houston or the refinery specked horizons of the "Golden Triangle", Winnie rises like an oasis amidst the rice fields and abundant pasture land that make this area famous.
Because of its location, the Winnie-Stowell Area has justly earned its motto as the "Crossroad of Southeast Texas". These communities are linked to the more urban centers of Beaumont, Port Arthur, Galveston, and Houston by Interstate 10 and Highways 73 and 124, making the area an ideal location for development. In addition, Winnie is only 15 minutes from the coast, and is a perfect overnight retreat, with lodging and camping facilities available, and a variety of restaurants to choose from.
Winnie is located just off of Interstate 10, exit 829, between Houston and Beaumont.
