Camping Permits

  • Must provide Picture ID
  • Three night limit at all parks
  • Must be 100% fully self-contained
    • No hook ups to County electricity or water
  • No open fires on the ground allowed
  • Bar-B-Q pits or fire pits are permitted
  • No camping near pavilion unless reserved ahead of time

Pavilion Rentals

  • Winnie-Stowell Park Pavilion
  • Gregory Park Pavilion (in Stowell)

Solid Waste Permits (Dump Stickers)

  • Valid 2 years from purchase date
  • $50 per sticker (over 65, veterans and active military exempt)
  • Limit One exempt sticker, 2nd sticker $50
  • Limit 2 stickers per household address
  • Must provide Driver's License with Chambers County address
  • Must provide proof of vehicle ownership (vehicle registration receipt only)
  • Must have license plate number (no temporary license plate)
  • Can issue Temporary Permit for temporary  license plate
