Jury eResponse

Summons by Post Card

The postcard recently delivered to your mailbox serves as your official jury summons, featuring a QR code that links to our eResponse system.

This system is designed to facilitate communication by enabling you to provide your email address and phone number. These details will be used to keep you informed with essential notifications and reminders regarding your jury service.

With eResponse, you can:

  • Notify us of a disqualification from jury service.
  • Claim an exemption for this jury service or all jury service.  More information on the Qualifications and Exemptions page.
  • Opt to donate your first day's service compensation.
  • Check the current status of your jury service.
  • Find the location where you are required to report.

Accessing Jury eResponse

To access eResponse, please ensure you have the following information ready:

  • Your juror candidate number  (located on your postcard or reminder letter, just beneath your name); and
  • Your date of birth

To access the eResponse questionnaire, visit the eResponse website
Should you encounter any difficulties in accessing the eResponse system, an alternative option is available. You can call our interactive voice response system at 409-207-8759 to check your status.

Please take note: Delays in receiving or returning the questionnaire do not constitute a valid reason for missing your summons date. If you haven't already completed the questionnaire online or received it by mail, you will be required to do so during check-in, where our jury staff will be available to provide assistance. Your punctuality is greatly appreciated in this regard.
